PLANN is a complete Instagram suite known for it’s Instagram planning, scheduling and analytics for beautiful feeds. Content creators, influencers, small business owners and more utilize the detailed features. the company wanted to increase brand exposure to the next level and expand their audience and user reach.
Plann came to The Mae Agency for a traditional public relations support that would provide additional media coverage with press outlets and opportunities that their target customers trust the most. The Mae agency used the “quality vs. quantity” approach, strategically timing and steering media impressions in an effort to connect with users, maximize awareness, and ensure that PLANN is included in key conversations and coverage of new apps, social media strategies, females in tech, entrepreneurs, tech startups, marketing leads, and more.
During our time of collaborating, we secured more than 500 million media impressions, multiple event and sponsorship opportunities, and secured three international award wins. Plann and Christy Laurence, Plann’s founder, were featured in media such as Entrepreneur.com, Thrive Global, Women 2.0, and more. In addition to digital media placements, Christy was a guest speaker at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in the Digital Marketing and Social Media department. Plann also sponsored multiple events and partnered with Women in PR live and virtual events as a sponsor and guest speaker.
To continue to secure coverage, we nurtured relationships with the media and expanded our reach while focusing on the message of Plann, as a key marketing and social media tool.
Our strategies combined nurtured relationships with key media, expanded Plann’s reach worldwide and continued to keep their digital platform top-of-mind for our contacts. We were able to include opportunities supporting creators and marketing professionals through COVID-19 while working from home. Additionally, we saw a spike in awareness as editors came to us for interviews with Plann’s founder, Christy Laurence, discussing managing a fully worldwide remote team from Sydney.
