The Mae Agency is a Los Angeles-based full-service boutique Digital Communications Agency specializing in Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle. We offer services from traditional PR, social media management, digital marketing, and everything in-between.

 

Our team is built with creative and driven individuals who share a passion for the Public Relations, Influencer, and Marketing industry. We focus on authenticity and bringing the most effective form of communication, focusing on elevating our client’s brand by increasing visibility and driving brand awareness.

The Mae Agency has combined with HVH Media & Marketing and created a digital consulting division, Twenty One North. Moving forward, we are working on providing a strong level of service by working under Twenty One North and expanding our team.

Christina Elmen
Founder & Agency Director

After many years of experience in the public relations and marketing industries, Christina Elmen, founder and agency director of The Mae Agency saw an opportunity to work directly with individuals and brands. Christina has worked with startups and established national and international brands, focusing on public relations and social media enhancements with cutting-edge initiatives and platforms.

 

Recently, Christina has partnered with Hayden Van Hulzen, founder of HVH Media & Marketing and influential social media marketing professional, to create a digital consulting agency, Twenty One North. Christina and Hayden, have merged to provide a larger scope of service to their current and future clients.

 

Shortly after college, Christina discovered her passion for event planning and communications while working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She also has vast experience from the entertainment side of the business. Christina worked on VH1’s Snoop and Martha’s Potluck Dinner Party and went on to Universal Pictures where she worked in their marketing department. She played a role in campaigns for award-winning films such as Green Book, Girls Trip, First Man, and Jurassic World. Even though she loved working for such an influential company, Christina had big plans for herself. 

 

From her personal and professional experience, she brings a passionate approach and valuable skill set for client advantage. In addition to raising brand awareness for her clients, Christina has actively developed her personal social media platform working with multiple brands and building strong relationships within her community. Christina’s dedication to the growth of her own platform benefits her clients and partners. She and her team apply these strategies to clients’ brand development and marketing, giving them the exposure and growth they deserve.

With wanting to share her passion for the industry, Christina joined the faculty at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles where she is an instructor in the Social Media and Digital Marketing Department.
